The Banfield Art Crawl began in 2023 when three local artists suspected there were enough creatives in the neighbourhood to create an engaging art tour. After canvassing the streets with flyers, more than 30 artists and makers joined that very first year.
In 2024, the crawl expanded to welcome guest artists from outside the Banfield neighbourhood, invited by local residents. Now in its fourth year, the 2026 event features 43 artists and makers. While a few familiar faces are missing this year, we’re excited to welcome new participants alongside returning favourites.
Walk our streets, view the art, and enjoy the charm of our neighbourhood—its historic homes, towering trees, and friendly, welcoming community.
Interested in joining us in 2027?
The only requirement is that your work is all-people friendly, and that you secure a location within the pie-shaped neighbourhood, bordered by Banfield Street, Capron Street, and Grand River St. N. Send us an email and we’ll be happy to include you when registration invitations for 2027 are sent out by email (November 2026).
